Instead of storing records, knowledge artifacts are managed, requiring semantic validation, versioning, and continuous governance. The raw-curated-operational medallion layers become raw, curated, and operational knowledge layers.
To address this transition, organizations need artificial intelligence solutions that natively integrate these principles.
