What is Technical SEO and Content Strategy?
Technical SEO and content strategy are the disciplines that build sustainable organic visibility on classic search engines like Google. Unlike paid advertising, where visibility is bought per click, SEO works to ensure that the right pages appear in relevant results naturally and continuously. At Q2BSTUDIO we approach SEO as a complete system: technique (which allows crawling, indexing, and understanding) and content (which responds to real needs with demonstrable authority) are inseparable.
Technical SEO starts with a thorough site audit: crawling (crawl budget, HTTP responses, sitemaps, robots.txt, broken links), indexing (pages that should and should not be in the index, canonical, noindex/nofollow), performance (Core Web Vitals, load time, interactivity, visual stability), internationalization (hreflang, alternates, language structure), structured data (relevant schema, consistent with visible content and no spam), internal linking (authority distribution, depth, contextual navigation) and information architecture (hubs, clusters, logical hierarchy and understandable URLs).
Each finding is prioritized by estimated impact on the demand it can capture, technical risk, and implementation effort. We don't deliver generic lists of 200 errors sorted by automatic severity: we sort by business value by cross-referencing data from Search Console (impressions, clicks, positions, reach), GA4 (conversions by landing), and third-party tools (crawl, links, competition). The resulting technical backlog has a responsible party, validation criteria and indicative period.
The content strategy starts from the real demand: what users are looking for that fits our offer, what intention they have, what content they expect to find and what subsequent action makes sense. We investigate queries, group by intent, and map against existing content to identify three scenarios: missing pages (opportunity), pages that compete with each other (cannibalization), and pages that don't add anything to the user or business (debt). From there we design an editorial plan with clusters, briefs, priority, calendar and success criteria.
Content is produced with evidence, not with volume. Each piece has a defined audience, editorial purpose, planned internal linking, adequate structured data and a next step for the user (conversion, deepening or navigation). We do not publish filler programmatic content or massive AI-generated articles without editorial oversight. AI can help research, structure, and generate drafts, but the decision to publish, claims, and review are human.
We explicitly distinguish this organic SEO service from GEO/AEO (AI engine positioning): both share signals of authority and usefulness, but are executed and measured against different metrics. SEO works on Search Console, SERP positions, organic clicks, and indexing coverage. GEO/AEO works on citations in generative assistants. They are complementary within the Online Marketing and AI hub, but not replaceable. SEO-friendly content can also be cited by a wizard, but GEO-specific optimization requires additional formatting, entities, and signals that this subservice doesn't cover on its own.
The service includes implementation support: we do not leave the audit in a PDF that no one executes. We prioritize actions, define tickets, review implementations, and validate with data after the change. The goal is progressive, measurable progress, not a pretty report that expires after a month. We measure with early indicators (crawling, indexing, impressions by cluster) and late indicators (clicks, conversions, leads) without promising positions or closed dates, because SEO depends on competition, authority, quality and crawl frequency.
