TRAINING FOR COMPANIES

Professional backend development with Node.js or .NET

Practical backend course: REST APIs, authentication, databases, validation, testing and deployment in production with the stack used by your team.

What is Backend, APIs and Node.js/.NET?

The backend is the backbone of any application: it manages data, business logic, authentication, integrations, and security. A poorly designed backend leads to technical debt, vulnerabilities, performance issues, and difficulty in maintenance. At Q2BSTUDIO we form teams in professional backend development with Node.js (Express, Fastify, Hono) or .NET (ASP.NET Core) depending on the client's stack.

The course covers the fundamentals that every backend developer needs to master: REST API design (paths, verbs, status codes, pagination, versioning), authentication and authorization (JWT, sessions, OAuth, RBAC), input validation (Zod, class-validator, FluentValidation), error handling, structured logging, connection to databases (SQL with parameterized queries, ORM/query builders), testing (unitary, integration, API tests) and deployment.

Beyond the fundamentals, we address production patterns: middleware, dependency injection, layer separation (controller/service/repository), transactions, concurrency management, rate limiting, CORS, security headers, secrets management, and configuration by environment. These patterns are what differentiate a prototype from a production service.

The training is hands-on: participants build a complete API during the course, with testing, documentation, and deployment. The exercises are based on real scenarios (CRUD with relationships, authentication, permissions, file uploads, webhooks) so that the learning is directly transferable.

We tailor the stack to the team: Node.js with TypeScript (Express, Fastify, or Hono) for full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript teams; .NET with C# for Microsoft teams. Design principles are transferable across stacks; The course specializes in the one that the team will use in production.

We provide a reference repository, pattern guide and subsequent follow-up for application questions. The goal is that upon completion, the team can build and maintain production APIs with criteria, security, and maintainability.
