What is iOS and Android mobile apps?
A mobile app is the most direct channel to reach your users on their personal device. Whether for end customers, internal employees or field processes, a well-designed app offers an experience that the web cannot always match: quick access, push notifications, offline operation, integration with device hardware and permanent presence in the user's pocket. The process starts with understanding the use case: who will use the app, in what context, what actions are most frequent, and what information they need to access. We designed the UX experience adapted to mobile: gesture navigation, forms optimized for small screen, progressive loading, immediate visual feedback and flows that minimize the steps for the main action. We do not move a website to mobile; We design for the channel.
We chose the technology according to the project: React Native or Flutter for multiplatform apps that share code between iOS and Android with performance close to native and lower development and maintenance costs; or native development with Swift and Kotlin when maximum performance, deep integration with the operating system, or a specific use case warrants it. We recommend the most suitable option after analyzing requirements, budget and roadmap.
Common functionalities include secure authentication with biometrics, segmented push notifications, offline mode with synchronization when reconnecting, integration with camera, GPS and sensors, in-app payments, profile and preference management, and connection with APIs and backend systems. Each feature is designed to provide value to the user without overloading the app.
The backend is developed as a REST API or GraphQL that serves both the app and other clients (web, integrations). It is deployed in cloud infrastructure with automatic scaling, caching and monitoring. The communication between app and backend is secured with HTTPS, tokens, and validation of each request on the server.
Publishing on the App Store and Google Play includes asset preparation, captures, descriptions, compliance with each store's policies, and management of the review process. We set up internal distribution (TestFlight, enterprise distribution) for testing before public release.
After publication, the app needs continuous maintenance: updates for new versions of iOS and Android, correction of bugs reported by users, new functionalities according to roadmap, performance optimization and crash monitoring and usage analytics. We offer maintenance plans to keep your app functional, secure, and up to date.
Analytics are set up from launch: usage events, retention, most visited screens, conversion funnels, and user segmentation to make product decisions with data.
If the project includes in-app payments, subscriptions or premium functionalities, we implement integration with Apple and Google's purchasing systems respecting their policies and manage the subscription lifecycle in coordination with the backend.
